NDPL Trip'13
On 23 April 2013, a group of 30 students from NSIT visited North Delhi Power Limited (NDPL) near Rithala. NDPL distributes electricity in North & North West parts of Delhi and serves a populace of 50 lakh. The trip was organised by WIE, IEEE to promote awareness among its student members about power generation and distribution on an industrial scale.
Freescale Semiconductors Industrial Trip
On 26 April 2013, a group of 23 undergraduate students from NSIT visited the Noida campus of the company Freescale. Freescale Semiconductors is an American company which provides embedded processing solutions to the automotive, consumer, industrial and networking markets. The trip was organised by IEEE to provide industrial exposure and to promote awareness among its student members about the thriving VLSI industry.
Indradhanush
INDRADHANUSH consists of several events like t-shirt painting, rangoli making, sketching and painting. Various themes ranging from a sensitive issue i.e. the position of women in society to vibrant topics like 100 years of Bollywood were selected to be worked upon by the participants.
Session by Microsoft Student Partners
A session focusing on the upcoming technologies developed by Microsoft was held at NSIT on 6th February, 2013. The event was hosted by Microsoft Student Partners (MSPs) from our NSIT namely Ayush Gupta, Shalu Dagar and Rahul Gandhi.
